Let’s set aside for a brief moment the fact that today begins the Early Signing Period and historically, we as a podcast have always had a special episode in which we cover the next year’s recruiting class, and focus on the fact that BAYLOR IS GOING TO THE TEXAS BOWL!

In reality, we recorded this show on Monday night because Coffey’s winging his way out of the country as I type this, so it would have been impossible to record a show with him on a Wednesday night and talk about both the Texas Bowl AND recruiting. I say it on the show, but most likely we’ll do like we have in the past and do a wrap-up once the “real” National Signing Day happens in February.

For now, let’s talk Texas Bowl! We’re complete SEC experts and give you an in-depth breakdown of Baylor’s opponent, the Vanderbilt Commodores. We give you deep analysis on—hahahahaha sorry I couldn’t even finish the paragraph. We talk about bowl games, Coffey gives some fantastic insight about what Bowl Week is like for players (let’s be honest, his “inside look” takes are one of the best parts of the show), I give a take that could be the easiest thing to misconstrue ever (plus the best layout ever on the show), we name some players, we look at some stats, and we have a good time. Then we make some picks. Mine are terrible.
