How weird is it that we got a double bye week? I don’t know that I’ve ever seen that happen before, but given how the rest of the football teams in Texas fared, it’s probably a good thing.

Juuuuuuuust kidding. Last Thursday night was abysmal. We acknowledge Baylor’s thumping at the hands of West Virginia for about 5:30 or so on the show, but talking about it any more than that would have felt like repeatedly bashing ourselves over the heads with a rather large stick. So, instead of doing that, we talk about fun things! Replacement topics:

• Star Wars! Not really. Well, we sorta do for a minute. Neither Fank nor Coffey have seen Solo. I saw it and it was fine.

No joke, we really talk about that stuff, and it’s fun. Don’t turn it off though, because there’s still more after that! We’re talking about Oklahoma State and what the Bears have to do to win this football game. After Texas we felt pretty confident that Baylor could win this football game, but after last week’s performances by both teams, we’re less so. We’re talking about what needs to happen, and wondering which team shows up.
