We're still not sure how he did it, but he did: Carter Lacy got press credentials for last week's Big 12 Media Days. If you watched Art Briles' press conference, you saw him on your television, asking Briles a question. If you're not impressed, you need to reevaluate things.
Seriously though. Carter is a recent high school graduate that went out on a limb to request press credentials for Big 12 Media Days and got them. That takes some gumption. Not only that, but he asked questions during multiple coaches' press conferences and talked to nearly all of the players that were available during the week.
This week, Carter joins me to discuss his experience at Media Days, what it was like, plus we recap the Art Briles Press Conference and his experience talking to the Baylor players, as well as the others. Check it out below.
In case you didn't know, Carter has his own podcast that he co-hosts with his buddy John Loop called the Two Minute Drill. Last week's episode consists of a Day 1 recap recorded at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, as well as all of the audio interviews that he conducted. It's some really entertaining stuff, and I highly recommend that you check it out by clicking this link right here. Show support to one of our own by subscribing to the podcast, too!
