The Daily Bears Report: August 25

Today's DBR will be a short one. I'm putting a moratorium on hot Ukwuachu takes in the Daily Bears Report, but y'all can feel free to discuss it in the comments if there are new developments.

It's the second day of classes and I continue to be amazed by Foster. The Memorial Dining Hall renovation is on point too; it's more than a cosmetic renovation, as the kitchens have been entirely redone, and the food is better than ever.

Let's get to it.

Baylor Soccer

Baylor Soccer is off to a pretty weak start this year, which is disappointing but more or less in line with our expectations. Michigan State went up 2-0 before Baylor netted a late goal. This is a young team that will develop as the season moves along, and great things are ahead, but the development isn't there quite yet.

I need to get inside here. I don't care what it takes. Maybe I'll become an athletic tutor. Maybe I'll get in the best shape of my life and walk on to the football team as a special teams player. Maybe I'll become a basketball manager. Maybe I'll perform an occult ritual and switch bodies with Rico Gathers. Maybe...

But I digress. It's a great facility, and we're taking care of our student athletes and the football players no longer have to trudge all the way to Brooks for breakfast. Now they can trudge all the way to Simpson.
