Baseball Drops OSU Series, Hosts Lamar
After winning game two, nothing seemed to go right for Baylor come game three against Oklahoma State. The Pokes were hitting well, pitching well, and completely outplayed the Bears in a game that was never really in doubt after the first run. Oklahoma State is one of the best teams in the country, however- there's no shame in losing this particular series, and its an accomplishment that we avoided the sweep.
That's not the most ringing endorsement of the state of the program right now.

Postseason Events This Week:
Acrobatics & Tumbling will be at the NCATA Championships later this week where they will compete in individual and team events against other top national programs. Baylor has not lost a single meet this year and has swept every other team scheduled to be in attendance. This should give us all pretty high hopes for a national championship in this particular sport, but Oregon is still dangerous.
The tennis postseason begins this weekend as well in Waco, with the women's Big 12 championship on Friday and the men's championship on Saturday. I'll post later this week on either Thursday or Friday with match times. Remember, the Big 12 has suspended typical heckling rules, so this will be your last chance to show up and harass Baylor's conference rivals this season. The Baylor women are favorites in their tournament but the men are underdogs to Oklahoma, who they never managed to beat in the regular season (despite coming extremely close in their most recent attempt).
Track and Field finishes out the month of April at the Drake Relays in Ames, Iowa. That's not postseason news, but the relays begin tomorrow so it was worth mentioning. We'll have some preliminary results on Thursday.
Anyways, it's a pretty slow Tuesday here on ODB.
Maybe we'll get a commitment or something. I AM A JEDI
I haven't been checking my pay sites lately, so I have no clue how likely that is. Don't read into it. Would you like to mail me some Whataburger?
