Wednesday DBR: Welcome Kenan Ivy

New, comments

Not a busy day today- a new recruit and some results, as well as a postponement.

Kenan Ivy Commits

The Class of 2016 has another member to go with Kam, Pat, Zach, Jordan, and Grayland. His name is Kenan Ivy, and he'll translate to the next level as either a corner, safety, or kick return specialist. Right now he's listed at 5'9 on 247 and 5'11 on HUDL, so we'll have to wait and see if he has any growth left in him. He also reportedly runs a 4.45, so he has the speed to play corner in the Big 12 if that's indeed what the coaches have in mind.

He has a nose for the ball and has swagger before the snap, so the three-star could become something special in the right defensive scheme.

Men's Tennis Shuts Out TCU

The win guarantees that both men's and women's tennis will finish the week in the top 5, a huge endorsement of the program as a whole.

Nina Davis has made the top 10 for the prestigious Naismith Trophy. Davis has been the most dominant player in the Big 12 this year as a sophomore and continues to post gaudy numbers week after week in conference play.

This is unfortunate, as it was the only Baylor sport scheduled to be in action today. See you in two weeks, BearKats.
