Softball Season Opener vs. Wichita State

Baylor softball will play five games over the course of the weekend, starting with two set fixtures today. The season begins with the Getterman Classic, hosted by Baylor and including SFA, A&M Corpus, and Wichita State. Baylor opens their season with Wichita State at 3 p.m. today, immediately followed by SFA. Play continues with a game against A&M Corpus tomorrow at 12:30 with bracket play to follow. The consolation game and championship game are on Sunday. Baylor will be getting a taste of life after Whitney Canion, but talented youth and returning skill in the bullpen should make for another dangerous team.

Equestrian Hosts Texas A&M

Beating the Aggies at farm animals would be the best feeling, wouldn't it? Baylor stands a good chance of doing so; they're still the top team in the country after easily dispatching No. 10 New Mexico State a week ago.
