It's a short DBR today, but that just means we're gonna get busy later in the week.
Basketball at Texas Tech Tonight
No. 20 Baylor is in Lubbock today to take on Texas Tech. Tech has consistently been one of the most underwhelming teams in the Big 12 this year, forking over TCU's first conference win. However, they managed to rally and beat Iowa State as well. You never know quite what you're going to get out of any Big 12 team. Barring a dismal performance by Baylor, we can reasonably expect a Bears win tonight.
Big 12 home teams have won 44 out of 63 games this season (69.8%). Home court advantage is unreal in this conference.

Baseball Hosts Dallas Baptist
Baseball's opening weekend went better than any of us expected, with the Bears completing a dominating sweep of No. 13 Cal Poly on Sunday. Now they host Dallas Baptist, another 3-0 team that swept Monmouth over the weekend. Building upon the weekend's success would reassure fans that this success is sustainable over the course of the season. As always, the game will be broadcast live on 1660 ESPN Central Texas. If you're in Waco and aren't occupied by the basketball game, head over to Baylor Ballpark to show your support.
