The big event of the week is finally here, and there's a good bit of literature on it. It should be noted that Baylor has a 12-game winning streak in the Ferrell Center dating back to last season, and the Ferrell Center should be rocking even with most students still out on break.

Kansas is always good and is no different this year, but has shown signs of vulnerability at times. If Kansas is knocked off-kilter and Baylor comes to play, this could be a shocker.

Other sports about to kick off

The spring is wonderful because the DBR gets to be stuffed with tennis, track and field, acrobatics and tumbling, softball, baseball, and equestrian, among other things. Unfortunately, January tends to be devoid of such sports. Still, we have some early tennis news.
