Monday Daily Bears Report

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

WBB at K-State Tomorrow

Fresh off of a convincing defeat of No. 18 Oklahoma State, the Lady Bears are making their first conference road trip of the season to Kansas State. The Ladycats began conference play with a 55-60 loss at Iowa State, but only carry two losses on the season. This game should be another good test for Nina Davis and her lackeys.

The Lady Bears defense is in fantastic form, holding a talented Oklahoma State to 12 second half points. Both Baylor teams are playing aggressive basketball, and it's fun to see.

MBB Hosts Kansas Wednesday

This is a big one. Kansas is always the class of the conference, and will be until proven otherwise. A home win against the Jayhawks would be a huge feather in Scott Drew's hat and a good resume builder for the tournament. When our team plays well, they can beat anyone in the nation. It will take all they've got on Wednesday.

Hasty in Semper Fi Bowl

Baylor RB/WR commit JaMycal Hasty competed in the Semper Fi All-American bowl last night and started at running back for his time. A late fumble wouldn't greatly diminish his performance; I can't find exact statistics, but Hasty's lateral speed will be a huge bonus, and an element of the offense that has been absent since the egress of Lache Seastrunk.

Williams Catapults Cowboys to Playoff Win

I loathe the Dallas Cowboys, but I have nothing but love for Terrance Williams and his spectacular play last night against Detroit. Williams caught two key touchdown passes and could be considered the primary reason that the Cowboys are advancing.
