Monday DBR: The Bye Week Blues Are Back

New, comments

Well, we have just under two weeks until Oklahoma State and Blackout 2.What's going on in the meantime? I'm so glad you asked!

Basketball Season is This Week

We're entering that wonderful time of year when football and basketball overlap and DBRs are suddenly a lot easier to find content for. Baylor Basketball kicks off this friday at 8:30 p.m. central in the Ferrell Center as the Bears host McNeese State. The game will be aired on Fox Sports Southwest and features a radically overhauled team. After losing big men Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson, as well as sniper Brady Heslip, the Bears need to find a new source for a lot of lost production.

WBB Hosts Tarleton State

The Lady Bears play tonight at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center, and I don't think it's going to be the best of times for Tarleton State.

Volleyball Swept by Oklahoma

This isn't a huge surprise; Oklahoma is quite good, and Baylor's team is still in a developmental stage. Chin up, ladies.

Soccer Season Done after OU Loss

Baylor Soccer lost Friday Night in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament after taking Oklahoma to a penalty shootout. It was a strong final run for a team that has seen highs and lows this fall.

West Virginia ended up beating Oklahoma for a well0deserved conference title.

Honors for Men's Tennis

It's a shame that Lenz lost in the first round, because he really is one of the best players in the country. Rios and Schneider are turning out to be one of the finest doubles pairs in the country this season.
