Baylor Baseball pulled out a win in their last home game of the season, defeating UTSA 4-3 with help from DH Wes Mercurio. Doug Ashby got the win in relief of Ryan Smith, pitching two innings of scoreless ball, while Crayton Bare earned his fifth save. The Bears will close out the season by travelling to Lubbock, and will face Texas Tech in a Thursday/Friday/Saturday series. Thursday's game starts at 6:30 PM.

Julian Lenz was named the 2013 Texas Region Rookie of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Lenz has the best record on the Baylor team, going 27-9, and is ranked 55th in the country. Lenz and the Baylor team will take on fourth-ranked USC on Thursday in Urbana, IL in the semifinal round of the NCAA Championships.

Baylor Football picked up another 2014 commitment this week, with Magnolia West HS defensive end Xavier Jones switching his commitment from Houston to Baylor. Jones plays for head coach Shawn Bell, a former Baylor quarterback. Speaking of Baylor quarterbacks, Art Briles' Quarterback U looks to keep rolling with the development of Bryce Petty, and the lure of the system that formed RGIII has led to commitments and enrollments from some of the top offensive talent in the nation.

A new update video on the construction of Baylor Stadium has been published, and it takes a look at where the project will be over the summer and into the early fall. The seating should start going in before next semester starts, as well as the steel for the shade overhang structure.
