Baylor Baseball plays their last road game of this trip today, at DBU. The Bears are back at .500 after losing their first Big 12 series at TCU last weekend, and on the outside of the NCAA bubble, and will most likely start LHP Sterling Wynn in this midweek. Wynn is 0-1 with a 5.82 ERA and has 15 strikeouts in 21.2 innings.
No. 16 Baylor Softball will host a televised doubleheader with the University of Houston this afternoon, beginning at 4:00 PM. The Lady Bears are 34-11, and rank 10th in then nation in team ERA. Senior Kathy Shelton only needs 4 more stolen bases to tie the program record season single mark.
Baylor Men's golf is in 4th after the first day of the Big 12 Championships, hosted at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas. Niclas Mansson is in fourth individually with a total of two-over, though he shot an even-par 70 in the first round, the only Bear to do so. The second round will resume today after being suspended for darkness last night, and the third round will continue on Wednesday.
Baylor's first 2014 lineman commit, Devonte Jones, is ready to play for Art Briles, and hopes to bring his aggressive style to the offensive line in the future. Jones is the fourth verbal commitment for the Bears' 2014 class.
The Dallas Cowboys SBNation blog has a draft profile of Terrance Williams, and quote a good number of draft experts on Williams, who could be a early second round pick.
