Felix Obi was named the Big 12 Track and Field Male Athlete of the Week after winning the triple jump at the Florida Relays last weekend. Obi is the first Baylor male athlete to win this award since 2009. Baylor did well in the Florida Relays, and junior Erin Atkinson broke Baylor's hammer throw record with her winning throw of 211-5.

Baylor's Patrick Pradella is ranked 29th in the nation, and is riding a six-match winning streak, while #74 Tony Lupieri has won his last 7 matches.
