Baylor Men's Basketball lost to Iowa State last night, 87-82, despite Pierre Jackson's 30 points and Cory Jefferson's 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bears allowed 11 three-pointers from the Cyclones, and fall to 16-10 on the season. Baylor Football is looking for another game to add to their 2013 schedule after the cancellation of the SMU match. The Mustangs needed an extra game for their Big East move, and as the "fourth" Big 12 team SMU was scheduled to play, the Bears were the logical choice for the game to drop.

No. 25 Baylor Softball heads down to San Marcos for the Texas Shootout this weekend, and will face Texas State, Sam Houston State, UT Arlington, and UNT. The Lady Bears are on 9-game winning streak, and won the Miken Classic hosted here at Baylor last weekend.

20th-ranked Men's Tennis travels to Florida today to face North Florida at 1:00 PM and will continue their roadtrip facing no. 16 Florida on Saturday at noon. The Bears are on a 3-match winning streak and recently blanked both UT Pan American and UT Arlington 7-0.

Golf sophomore Kyle Jones was named the national player of the week by Golfweek after winning the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational, his first career win. This is the first time a Baylor golfer has been honored by the publication, and Jones is currently ranked 79th in the nation by Golfstat.
