Baylor Baseball picked up their first win of the season yesterday in the home opener, defeating Texas State 6-3. Despite the 5 errors made by the Bears, the Bobcats stranded 14 runners. Nathan Orf is starting the season on a hot streak, going 7-for-9 in his last two games, and led the team last night in hits, RBI, runs scored, and stolen bases. The Bears scored four runs in the second inning on five hits, including a double from Orf.

Baylor Men's Basketball hosts Iowa State tonight at 8:00 in a "must-win" game after their 20 point loss at Kansas State. The Bears are 8-1 all-time against the Cyclones in Waco and hope add their 8th conference win tonight, in front of a national TV audience on ESPNU. The Bears have to improve from their performance against K-State, and tonight's game could have an impact on potential NCAA tournament, as the season starts winding down.

Baylor Soccer has set its spring schedule, which includes four in-state opponents in the team's five games. The Bears hope to build upon last season's successes with productive practices and games this spring, and will play their first game at Texas A&M on March 1st at 8:00 PM.

The Lady Bears were "too much" for UConn on Monday night, powering through a tough game to add a 24th game to their new winning streak, and Brittney Griner's 3,000th point couldn't have come in a higher-profile game. As for the strangely hilarious photo that came from the pre-game coaches' talk, despite the strangeness, it seems to be only a joke between friends.
