I'm looking forward to the Big 12's debut this bowl season tonight, beginning at 9:15 central, in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. We'll probably see a few of our guys on the telecast at some point or another. They'll be there as the guests of Kansas State, along with the coaching staff, their families, and whoever else traveled with the team.

In other news, the press conference for Baylor's defense is occurring RIGHT NOW. Let's take a look:
Sweet. I've never done that before.

Couple of interesting tweets from David Smoak...
Bennett said Patterson called to congratulate Baylor on Big 12 Championship, they got to taking about Ahmad Dixon and Bennett said...
— David Smoak (@DavidSmoak) December 28, 2013
Bennett said Patterson loves the way Ahmad plays, he was just protecting his player like Art was protecting his player.
— David Smoak (@DavidSmoak) December 28, 2013
Bennett also said, "I told Gary he would love to coach Ahmad Dixon, and Gary a good friend, it's all under the bridge now."

The idea that Patterson was "protecting his player" by taking personal shots at Ahmad and referencing legal situations he knew nothing about in the context of criticizing Briles' handling of disciplinary matters and the larger program is absurd. Either Patterson has the shortest fuse ever and should be ashamed of himself as an adult or Bennett is covering for him. This sequence of events is facially implausible.
