The Lady Bears rebounded from their four-overtime loss to Kentucky last week with a dominating victory over Houston Baptist, beating the Huskies 100-57. Odyssey Sims led the team with 25 points and seven assists, and freshman Nina Davis added 16 points. Sune Agbuke grabbed 14 rebounds and Alexis Prince scored 9 points in her first full game back from injury.
In football news, Bryce Petty received four first-place votes for the Heisman Trophy, a number sure to increase next year. Shock Linwood may not have started but three games, but he ended sixth in the conference in rushing yards, drawing comparisons to NFL great LaDanian Tomlinson. Former Baylor great Cotton Davidson still loves supporting his Bears, all these years later.
Trust will be paramount in landing #Rivals100 WR KD Cannon, and #Baylor has given him reason to believe -- ($) http://t.co/l1yVImAaio

Baylor's Robert Griffin III won the 2011 #Heisman; Don Trull finished 4th in 1963; Bryce Petty 7th in 2013. #SicEm

Baylor Football is practicing right now. Energy level kind of feels like fall camp.
