12.13.2013 Daily Bears Report: The Gif Post Cometh

So turns out that I need your help deciding how/when to decide the Best Nick Pants Gif of 2013.

Before we get to the news of the day, we need to settle something: I'm having doubts about my plan to just line up all the best Nick Pants gifs and vote on them.  I don't like that for choosing the best of a series of items, definitively.  I'd much rather do some kind of tournament, but we don't have any way to do that here, nor do I want to devote days on days to making it happen.  So I need some suggestions on how best to proceed.  I'd like to have this done today, if possible.  You guys did a tremendous job yesterday nominating .gifs, and I appreciate it.  I feel like the nominations captured the essence of this season perfectly.

Also, because of the incredible success of the gif posts this year, I've made a new hub solely for them.  I'll post a link when it is populated with the posts.

Finally, because of a weird decision twitter made yesterday, I can finally follow the unfollowable again.  Nobody tell him.

Now let's get to the news. There's a bit of everything going on this morning, just almost nothing about Baylor, specifically.  Just a reminder-- if you want to see something that at least resembles Baylor, Dino Babers' Eastern Illinois team plays tonight on ESPN2.  Baylor Lite will be in action!

Rivals seems to have moved to a system this year that devalues "lesser" players and emphasizes stars.  We have but a few stars and incredible depth behind them.  I'm not crazy about this ranking, though it does show the incredible positive movement over the last few  years.
