Cyril Richardson has already won one award this week, as he was named the 2013 Jim Parker Award recipient by the Touchdown Club of Columbus yesterday. The Jim Parker award goes to the top collegiate offensive lineman, and Richardson is the first from Baylor to earn this honor. Baylor Nation will find out tonight if Richardson has won the Outland Trophy, the honor for the nation's top interior lineman, an award that would be another program-first. If Richardson is selected as the winner, he'll be the second-straight Outland honoree from Tarrant County, following A&M's Luke Joeckel.

Baylor picked up some defense in the future, as 3-star safety Chance Waz flipped his commitment from Nebraska to Baylor after the Bears extended him an offer. Waz was named first-team all-district and all-Central Texas as a junior.

Baylor will host the 2015 NCAA Tennis Championships, the association announced Wednesday. The Hurd Tennis Center has recently undergone extensive renovation, and will ably host the final 16 teams in search of the NCAA title in May 2015.
