Obviously, we don't have a recap or highlights for a Baylor game that didn't happen yesterday. More's the pity. What we do have is a ton of links for the rest of the league and leading up to Baylor's game this Thursday night on national television.
Top 25 Results/Projection:
Because only one team above us in the BCS rankings even played (the Florida St. Seminoles), Baylor has almost no chance of moving upward this week. But because the closest team behind us lost (the Miami Hurricanes), we have almost no chance to move downward, either. We're pretty much locked into the #6 spot, and that's cool.
As for our next opponent, the Oklahoma Sooners, the hope was that with Miami falling, OU might rise to #9 in the country. According to SB Nation's latest BCS projection, that won't happen. OU will instead remain at #10 with Auburn jumping above them to #9. I don't think it makes a huge difference in terms of our game, but #6 vs. #9 is slightly better than #6 vs. #10. Whatever.
2013 BCS Top 25 rankings projections, Week 11: The calm before the storm - SBNation.com
Saturday was relatively quiet in the BCS race, and a few top-10 teams had the day off. Next week, it's time to get down to business.
I'll update this thread with the polls as soon as they come out. Again, Baylor shouldn't see much movement, if any at all. We'll see.
Coaches Poll: Baylor #5 with 1299 points, up from 1293 last week.
AP Poll: Baylor #5 with 1234 points, up from 1223 last week.
