Think of today's football as an appetizer, if you will.

Though Pasadena looks out of reach, Baylor will still have the chance for a big bowl game, whether it's just up the road or in Louisiana/Florida, and we all know what needs to happen for Arizona. The Bears are also still on their way to the best season in program history, if they can let go of last Saturday and win out. Jeff Sagarin's actual ratings still have Baylor above Oklahoma State, despite the lopsided victory for the Cowboys last Saturday, mostly due to the way the Bears beat everyone else. Baylor will need to return to that form against a TCU team with a still-strong defense, in a stadium that should be far from sold-out.

If you're in a football-watching mood, here's the schedule for today's light apéritif of games, including some delicious MACtion.

Baylor basketball fell in the tournament finals to Syracuse on Wednesday night, but despite that, they appear to be havinggreat time in Hawaii.

From last week, Odyssey Sims led the Lady Bears to four victories and earned both the ESPNW and the Big 12 Player of the Week honors, as she averaged 27.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists across the week. In their next game, Lady Bears host San Jose State on Dec. 3rd at 7:00 p.m. CT.
