A Baylor team not lacking in toughness will face a task worthy of them in Stillwater this weekend, with many saying this game could be the closest the Bears play all year. The Bears have playmakers on both sides of the ball, with wide receiver Antwan Goodley capable of burning guys on the way to the endzone and star safety Ahmad Dixon able to catch almost anyone, when he's paying attention. Baylor had 13 student-athletes honored by the conference as Academic All-Big 12 team members, the eighth consecutive year with at least 10 Bears meeting those standards.

The Lady Bears kicked off the Athletes in Action Classic with a 99-31 blowout of Savannah State, extending their nation-best home winning streak to 61 games. Odyssey Sims led the team with 22 points, and Kristina Higgins scored her first career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds as Kim Mulkey's team expanded their strategy and post scoring.

Cross country junior Rachel Johnson will represent Baylor in the 2013 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. tomorrow. Johnson qualified for the 6,000 meter race after finishing fifth at the NCAA South Central Regional, and is the first Baylor runner to compete in the national championship since 2010.

Top-ranked equestrian hosts No. 3 Auburn today at noon, looking to solidify their place in the NCEA rankings.
