One of the most important players on the Baylor offense, Cyril Richardson, has been named a semifinalist for the Outland Trophy, the award for the best interior lineman on either side of the ball. Richardson is also a semifinalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award, and was named a midseason All-American. Also on a national award semifinalist list is Baylor receiver Antwan Goodley, one of two from the Big 12 to make the cut for the Biletnikoff Award, the honor presented to college football's top receiver annually. Baylor also dominates the semifinalist list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, an award for offensive players with ties to the state of Texas. Though the loss of Spencer Drango hurts, Art Briles has no lack of confidence in his plan for the future without the sophomore left offensive tackle.

20th-ranked Baylor men's basketball takes on Charleston Southern tonight at 6 p.m. in the Ferrell Center, and on Fox Sports Southwest. The Bears have an eight-game winning streak, dating back to last season, and will look to win their fourth 2013 game in a row behind a rotating cast of double-digit minute players.

Baylor equestrian is ranked top in the nation in the NCEA poll, despite being off since October. The team will host former no. 1 Auburn this Friday for a chance to solidify that ranking, and Baylor also sent three riders to American Quarter Horse Association World Championships Show this last weekend, where they placed highly.

Baylor baseball has released their 2014 schedule, which includes games against nine NCAA tournament teams. The Bears will play a difficult 54-game slate, as their 24 opponents averaged a .580 winning percentage last season.
