Baylor football will face Texas Tech this weekend in a meeting between mentor and former student, as former Texas Tech offensive assistant Art Briles and former Texas Tech quarterback Kliff Kingsbury face off as the head coaches of two similarly minded teams. The Bears will face the Raiders without one of their top weapons, as Tevin Reese suffered a dislocated wrist in last Thursday's win over Oklahoma and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Baylor should be able to adapt, though, with Clay Fuller and Levi Norwood waiting in the wings.
Big 12 Player of the Week Shock Linwood lived up to his nickname, rushing for 182 yards last Thursday after injuries to both Glasco Martin and Lache Seastrunk. Linwood may be called upon again, as Art Briles announced Martin and Seastrunk's status as "day-to-day" in the weekly press conference.
