There's football again this Saturday, so that's fun.
No. 15 Baylor heads to Manhattan to take on Kansas State this Saturday in the first road game of the season. The Bears currently have an eight-game winning streak dating back to last season, the fourth longest active streak in the FBS. Art Briles is as excited as we are to have football more than once every 28 days, and views this K-State game as a chance to go in and succeed where the team failed two years ago. The Dallas Morning News wants to know if West Virginia is a real team, which seems kind of odd seeing as they had uniforms and everything. Lache Seastrunk earned his first Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week award, and the first offensive award for the Bears this season.
The Homecoming game against Iowa State will be at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19, and will be televised on ESPNU. The parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. that morning, and a schedule of all associated events can be found on the Homecoming website. The final game in Floyd Casey Stadium is officially sold out, including the formerly tarped-over endzone seating. Officials think this game could break the all-time attendance record of 51,385.
