Gifmaster Ted, fame has found you..

Green and gold fills the nightmares of defensive coordinators throughout the Big 12, and a seemingly unstoppable offense on its home turf is what awaits Oklahoma in a little over a week. This offense, led by Maxwell Award semifinalists Bryce Petty and Lache Seastrunk, has a newly stout defense to back it up, coached by a man who might not even be coaching today if not for the generosity of Kansas State coach Bill Snyder. This week's unsung hero is Levi Norwood, who had six receptions for 66 yards, and 104 all-purpose yards last Saturday.

Baylor volleyball has the chance to turn this season around after winning their last two matches, despite a disastrous 1-4 beginning to Big 12 play. The Bears will face Kansas in Lawrence in a 6 p.m. nationally televised game on Wednesday.

After the first and second rounds at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, the Baylor men's golf team is in fourth place with a 12-under par 698. The Bears are led by sophomore Charles Neal White, who shot a career best 4-under 67 in the second round to move from 34th place individually to 12th.

Women's golf moved up two places into 13th during yesterday's second round of play at the Alamo Invitational. The Lady Bears shot a 7-over-par 295 to move to 16-over 592 for the tournament. The final round in San Antonio started at 8:45 a.m. this morning.

Baylor will host the 2013 Big 12 Cross Country Championships on November 2nd at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Club.

Finally, the NCAA's lawyers could have found a way to deny the players represented in the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit  "class" status, which would mean that the case would not be able to proceed as a class-action lawsuit.
