I can hardly wait.

Also, Saturday's current forecast, via the National Weather Service:

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

No. 16/17 football hosts West Virginia for the first and last time in Floyd Casey this weekend to open conference play, and they may or may not face WVU quarterback Clint Trickett. No one really seems to know. Bryce Petty dropped "bring the bling" in the weekly press conference and Art Briles loves defensive touchdowns. As teams begin to get into the meat of their conference schedule, it's become shockingly apparent that the Big 12 is up for grabs, with only Oklahoma and Baylor standing out right now. 2013 Baylor Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Walter "Pinkie" Palmer, RB and former record holder, reminisces about his time in Floyd Casey and the Bears' upset win over Syracuse in 1966.

Top-50 women's basketball recruit Dekeiya Cohen has given her verbal commitment to Baylor, according to SBN's SwishAppeal. Cohen, a 6-foot-1-inch wing from South Carolina, is a member of the class of 2014, and a 5 star recruit according to ESPN's HoopGurlz.

Mate Zsiga was the only men's tennis player to record a win in the opening round of the qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships, defeating Florida State's Marco Nunez 6-2, 7-5. Both Tony Lupieri and Diego Galeano fell to their opponents, but will play in the consolation bracket. Lupieri and sophomore Julian Lenz begin doubles play tomorrow.
