In 2011-12, Baylor Athletics swept the Big 12 Athletes of the Year awards with superlative performances from Robert Griffin III and Brittney Griner. It appears that they enjoyed the experience as they've now done it again!

Congratulations to Bryce Petty and Odyssey Sims on their fantastic seasons and for adding more hardware to their trophy cases! While both Bryce and Odyssey are likely to tell you that team success is more important to them, their excellent seasons are still worthy of recognition.
In 2013-14, Odyssey Sims made multiple All American Teams and followed in the path of her coach, Kim Mulkey, in winning the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award. She led her team to the Big 12 Women's Basketball Regular Season and Tournament Championships as well as the Elite 8. She was the Number 2 overall pick in the WNBA draft.
In 2013-14, Bryce Petty threw for 4200 yards, 32 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, as well as 293 yards rushing and 14 rushing touchdowns. He lead the Baylor Football team to its first Big 12 Championship and first BCS Bowl Game and helped Baylor break national offensive statistical records. He returns for his last season this fall as a Heisman favorite.
Congratulations!
