Baylor Soccer Game 5 Preview: Cardinals versus Claws

The Baylor Bears are coming off weekend trip to Utah that saw them lose a match to the not-so-great Utah Valley (elevation will do that to you) and win an excellent match against Top-25 BYU.

Now, the Bears return the the banks of the Brazos to take on the University of The Incarnate Word Cardinals. The Bears will look to continue their home shutout streak against a team that has scored all of one goal across four games. Although the Cardinals currently hold a record of 0-4 and have been outscored 10-1, the Bears should not overlook them. That being said, the Bears are the much better team and don't have to deal with elevation problems in Waco.

Although the opponent is not the most exciting, tonight the seniors of the team will be honored in a post-game ceremony. So, if for nothing else, go cheer on the seniors!

Prediction: Baylor 3-0 UIW The Bears are just too good for the Cardinals and #DefenseU grabs another shutout.
