WE FINALLY HAVE A COMMIT FOR 2014!
UPDATE: WE HAVE 2 COMMITS FOR 2014!
3* SG Damiyne Durham -- Don't let the star ranking fool you. I haven't heard a single thing about this kid that makes me not want him.
PF T.J. Maston -- Committed this weekend on his visit. With Black off the table, Baylor turned to Maston as the PF in this class. Has offers from Houston, Marquette, Oregon, and SMU, the last of which was after him particularly hard.
TJ Maston has soft touch around the basket, is a good passer and solid rebounder. Sneaky athletic. Baylor is killing it on recruiting.

Tj Maston to Baylor is excellent, underrated get. Kid got better each time I saw him this summer. Perfect fit in Waco

RECRUIT UPDATES
This thread may take a while to build because information is less available. I plan on doing things similarly to the monthly FB recruiting threads, unless people object.
Baylor offered 2017 SF Ibrahim Doumbia of Trent Internationale (TX), per his coach.

I know nothing about this person.
PG Lester Medford (10/4): I have no idea who this is.
Lester Medford (5-11/PG/2014) of Indian Hills CC will take an official visit to Baylor next weekend.
— Brad Winton (@JucoRecruiting) October 4, 2013
PG/SG Riley LaChance (9/17): Was supposed to visit two weeks ago, didn't, and committed to Vanderbilt.
Riley LaChance, a 3-star 6-foot-2 guard from Wisconsin, has committed to Vanderbilt. Also had offers from Baylor, MN, Creighton and Iowa.

5* SG Rashad Vaughn (9/10): Baylor had an in-home yesterday. Vaughn will visit October 18. That is Baylor's Homecoming weekend.
Toss in Baylor too, JB! RT @jeffborzello Seems like Iowa State and UNLV have a lot of momentum in the Rashad Vaughn sweepstakes right now.

Scott Drew did an in-home visit with five-star shooting guard Rashad Vaughn this morning.

5* C Jahlil Okafor (9/5) -- Visited last weekend along with Tyus Jones and was very positive about the experience.
Father of #1 hoops recruit Jahlil Okafor, after visiting @BaylorMBB: "It was more than I could have imagined." More @ http://t.co/EetNbTBXRY

5* PG Tyus Jones (9/1) -- Also enjoyed his visit this weekend.
Thank u to Baylor and Waco for a great weekend and official visit. Headed back home shortly
— Tyus Jones (@Tyusjones06) September 1, 2013
Reports from the visits are good, but the pair did not commit. Whether they pull the trigger quickly, before their season begins as has been suggested, or wait until they take all their visits, is yet to be seen. I think we're in a good position here.
4* PF Leron Black (9/1)-- Committed to Illinois today on his visit. Probably won't make the scheduled visit to Baylor.
5* PG Emmanuel Mudiay (8/24): Committed to SMU, removing him from our list.
5* SF Justice Winslow -- I can't find the tweet right now, but I feel like he eliminated us recently. He was the third prospect that was supposed to visit with Jones and Okafor, but that was never confirmed. I don't think we're a player.
OTHER NAMES TO KNOW:
4* SG James Blackmon, Jr. (8/16) -- We offered.
5* C Myles Turner (8/8) -- Eliminated us tonight in his cut to 8.
5* PF Cliff Alexander -- Are we still a player? I don't know.
5* SG Rashad Vaughn -- Plans on visiting, I believe. We have offered (obviously).
That's it for now. Give me some time on this one. Basketball recruiting is a lot harder to get into and follow because the elite players are so highly sought-after. Everybody wants Tyus Jones. Everybody wants Jahlil Okafor. Getting them is something completely different.
Let me know if there's anything else you want to know.
