As Fran Fraschilla just said on ESPN, the next Nate Robinson, Baylor's Pierre Jackson, will officially take his talents to the NBA. And he'll do it in the best city (for my money) in America as part of the New Orleans Pelicans. He joins a roster that now includes last year's #1 pick, Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday (as part of a trade tonight for Nerlens Noel), and Eric Gordon. It will be interesting to see what kind of traction Pierre can make with New Orleans, who has Grievis Vasquez at PG and that's about it.
#SicEm @PierreJackson55. 4th Baylor draftee in last 2 years. RT @GoodmanESPN: Pierre Jackson at 42 to New Orleans (from Philly).

As the tweet above says, Pierre is the fourth Baylor draftee in the last two years after Quincy Acy, Perry Jones III, and Quincy Miller all went into the league last year. They joined former Baylor star Ekpe Udoh.
Congratulations, Pierre! I can think of few better situations for a young player to be in than on a young team where he can grow and get an opportunity to play!
