Wow!! What a game! Kentucky was the #1 seed in Baylor's region of the NIT, so them losing in the first round of the tournament obviously makes things a little easier for us, though I don't think anyone should take the Colonials of Robert Morris easily. I'm definitely not disrespecting that.
I didn't think they'd pull it off after a horrible flagrant foul by Lucky Jones (RMU's best player) on Archie Goodwin that helped the Wildcats tie it up, but four huge free throws for RMU later, they did it. And we got to see the first court stormin' of a national tournament this season.
Baylor, of course, takes on Long Beach State in their first round game tomorrow evening in Waco. Students get in free, and the first 750 (I think) fans to the game will get free food!
