Former Big 12 member Colorado opened the Charleston Classic with a victory 67-57 victory over the Dayton Flyers. Sophomore PG Askia Booker led the way for the Buffaloes with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

CU is coming off of a 22-12 (11-7 PAC 12) season and return 3 of their top 5 scorers, including San Antonio product Andre Roberson.

Colorado will be looking to avenge their 83-60 loss to Baylor in last year’s NCAA tournament. Brady Heslip led the way in that game with 27 points, and was 9-12 from 3 point range.

Baylor will need a better performance from both Heslip and Cory Jefferson in this game if they hope to advance to the finals of the tournament on Sunday.
