Baylor releases official images of throwback uniforms vs. Texas

Jeff Barlow, the Baylor Equipment maestro, finally put the intrigue to rest about what the Bears will wear this weekend in the final game in Floyd Casey Stadium history.

Rather than repost all of the pictures individually, I'll embed the tweet from the official football account from just moments ago. If you want to see all of the pictures in all of their glory, go check out Jeff's twitter feed. You should be following him, anyway.

You're not going to believe this, but I like it! We haven't seen a gold/green/white combo recently, if I recall correctly, and I like the throwback gold as it is. The green is very plain, without any accent features other than the FCS commemorative logo. If they sell these things eventually, I'll have to have one. Going with the old-school gray facemask was a nice touch.

This is, of course, the final game in Floyd Casey Stadium, and Baylor is doing everything it can to get a new record for attendance. We've already heard that they have removed much of the wall behind the South Endzone for up to 1,200 additional bleacher seats. If the past is any indication, they'll also have standing room only as an option for students. That pull started this morning to rave reviews here on and on twitter. As good as the OU crowd was on that Thursday night, this one might be even better.
