Baylor, Jim Grobe Invite Brenda Tracy to Speak to Football Team

In the aftermath of the sexual assault scandal at Baylor, the University and Interim Coach Jim Grobe have invited gang rape survivor Brenda Tracy to campus.

If you were looking for a little bit of news to help you regain faith in the University and football program today, look no further than the report from John Canzano that Baylor has invited Brenda Tracy, who recently spoke to the football team at Nebraska regarding sexual assault, to come to Waco to do the same.

As weird as it may sound to say it, I'm excited that Baylor is taking this step, which could be the direct result of having Jim Grobe leading the program.  The reviews from Ms. Tracy's presentation at Nebraska were glowing, and I'm glad that all of our athletes will get the chance to hear her story.  This is another step in the right direction for a program that has sorely needed them lately and another opportunity to learn from the mistakes of our past and make our campus safer for all.
