*sigh* What's happened has happened. Time for Baylor to pick up the pieces and move on.

I know this list looks like it's just a bunch of the top recruits who have shown interest in Baylor, and that's exactly what it is. This list will change through the recruiting cycle. It's the list of recruits who could commit to Baylor and not make me surprised.

Updates:

WR: CeeDee Lamb (4/29): Decommitted from Oklahoma today. Baylor offered recently and could snag the 4-star WR out of Richmond, Texas.

WR:Damion Miller (5/3): Baylor offered the Texas commit today. WR out of Tyler, TX. 247 rates him as a 4-star recruit and the 23rd best WR in the country for 2017.

Trying out something new today (5/8). Let me know what you think of the new change (having the embedded Crystal Ball predictions)

Two 2016 guys committed today (5/14). Both are JUCO. Both will fill holes from the 2016 class. The first is Offensive Lineman Tyrae Simmons, who should bolster the offensive line depth. Coach Clements has done a terrific job keeping the QB upright during his tenure, so don't be surprised if you see Simmons getting some playing time in the near future (2017). The second is a linebacker, Thomas Cletcher, who plays inside linebacker. I honestly have no idea where he fits in the Bennett scheme, maybe he is going to be groomed for the "Bear" position that Travon Blanchard plays so well, maybe he is Eddie Lackey 2.0, either way, he fills a hole and a need. If these are the last two taken, at this late in the game, for the 2016 class, we had a remarkable class. The only position that I think we didn't hit on in the class would have been a tight end, but after taking one in each of the previous two classes, and still having Kedrick James committed, I think we are safe.

5/29: ....Someone give me some good news, please.

Changelog:

5/2 - created the May recruiting notes thread, updated class rank
5/3 - added Damion Miller to the Wish List, update on Miller.
5/8 - Changed up a little bit of the thread
5/14: Added two new commits to the 2016 class!!!!
5/29: Updated thread. We lost every commit except Jalen Pitre and Kellen Mond. This is awful.
5/31: Adjusted the national rank of the 2017 class.
