You all know how much I hate to be the bearer of bad recruiting news, but ...

That stinks. Browning committed to Baylor on July 19, 2015, during our big run of commitments for the 2017 class, and held that commitment for nearly six full months. But we always knew this recruitment would be different, and that every school in the country would make a run at the Kennedale stud. Browning, for his part, has always handled himself with class in his recruitment, including his decommitment today. It stinks, but it's part of the game in recruiting, and now Baylor will have to try to show him again why he committed in the first place.
With this decommitment, Baylor's 2017 class falls to sixth in the national rankings with six commitments:
QB: Kellen Mond
WR: Hezekiah Jones
WR: Jhamon Ausbon
TE: Kedrick James
Let us hope for better news in the future!
