We've finally reached the last weekend of the 2016 recruiting cycle, and it could be the biggest yet in terms of pure star power for uncommitted recruits. Two 4* HS recruits and one JUCO All-American will be on campus this weekend, taking in the best that Baylor has to offer. If you see them, be sure to throw a #SicEm their way.
S Brandon Jones | **** | Nacogdoches, Texas
The #1 safety in the country is either on his way to Waco right now or already there after having visited Texas and Arkansas the last two weekends. He tweeted just a few minutes ago:
Last Official Visit to Baylor this weekend! #SicEm
— Brandon Jones (@BlessedJones33) January 29, 2016
As of this writing, 247Sports' Crystal Ball had A&M as the favorite to land Jones' services with 70% of the vote, but I'd caution you against reading too much into that considering many, if not most, of the predictions are quite old. Texas is seen as the team to beat right now, although Baylor has made up considerable ground recently through in-home visits. Jones is scheduled to commit at either 8 AM or 9 AM on ESPNU on National Signing Day. If he came to Baylor, he'd be our second-best recruit in this class (by 247's Composite ranking) behind WR Devin Duvernay.
I can't overstate how big of a win this would be for Baylor if we could reel him in. If you see Jones on campus this weekend, make sure to throw him a #SicEm and let him feel the love.
CB Parrish Cobb | **** | Waco, TX (La Vega)
Joining Jones this weekend will be Waco's own Parrish Cobb, an OU commit that recently announced that he's down to the Sooners and Bears and will also decide on National Signing Day. Baylor has made several recent attempts to get back into the picture with Cobb, and those attempts seem to have paid off. All of our sites are reporting that Cobb will be in Waco starting this evening.
Cobb is a little less active on Twitter than Jones, so there's not much you can read into there (which is probably best for your sanity, honestly). He's a hometown kid that Baylor will try to sell on staying close to everything he's ever known, playing in McLane Stadium just a few miles from his house, and wearing the green and gold. It's hard to say what kind of chances we actually have considering how long he's been committed to OU, but getting Cobb on campus for the last weekend gives us a shot, at least.
JUCO DT DeQuinton Osborne | *** | Kilgore Junior College
Just days after receiving an offer from the Bears, this one-time UCF commit decommitted from that school, set an official for this weekend, and looks like a done deal to the Bears when the dust settles. Like most JUCOs, Baylor is bringing the All-American in to compete for playing time immediately. Since he's probably the least-known of the three guys, I've embedded his HUDL video from this season below:
At this point, I feel confident that of these three guys, Baylor will definitely land Osborne. Beyond that, I really can't say. All I can say is that if we can pull this off, it will be a weekend that Bears fans remember for a long, long time.
Oh, and Kam has a message for everybody:

ONE MORE THING: Baylor's first Junior Day for the 2017 class is tomorrow. Baylor's 247Sports site has a running list going of the attendees. If I can get to it tonight, I'll try to round up everyone who has publicized that they are coming and put it in another post.
