What a weekend of football. Wow.

First off, I'd like to say thanks to everyone here. You guys were so positive and supportive of my first post and who I am/what I'm doing. I really do appreciate it more than words can describe. The ODB community kicks butt. Let's dive into the second installment of this series, shall we? How'd those commits do this week?

2015 COMMIT RESULTS:

QB/WR Chad President (6-3, 195) - Temple HS

Chad and the Wildcats beat Manor 28-14. The President of Baylor Recruiting went 6-10 for 45 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, but the story of the game was his rushing attack. Chad ran the ball 19 times for 125 yards, with a long of 38. He's kind of good at football, I guess. (He also was the leading rusher on the night for Temple.)

ATH Blake Lynch (6-3, 195) - Gilmer HS

Gilmer did not play this week.

WR Devontre Stricklin (6-3, 180) - Midway HS

Midway beat Harker Heights 51-0. Boom. Devontre's FIRST catch of the night was a 78 yarder that he took to the Harker Heights 3 yard line.

Stricklin didn't contribute to any of the scoring in this game.

LB/RB Clay Johnston (6-2, 200) - Wylie HS

Clay ran for 110 yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns as Wylie escaped Vernon 21-13. Here are some highlights.

RB JaMycal Hasty (5-8, 185) - Longview HS

JaMycal is still out with that back injury. Longview beat Greenville 56-7.

CB Jordan Tolbert (5-11, 160) - Ridge Point HS

Jordan is still out with an ACL injury. Ridge Point racked up a 38-6 win over Fort Bend on Thursday night.

S Montrel Wilson (6-2, 195) - Fossil Ridge HS

Fossil Ridge beat Timber Creek 41-7. Montrel had 6 tackles, 3 solo and 3 assisted. He also pitched in with an interception for 42 yards.

OT Sam Tecklenburg (6-3, 260) - Plano HS

Plano beat Plano West 17-14. I'm potentially going to his game against Plano East this week and I'll give you guys an update on that.

ATH Tony Nicholson (5-10, 170) - South Grand Prairie HS

SGP beat Duncanville 31-16. Tony rushed for 103 yards on 7 carries, scoring a touchdown on a 58-yard burst.

ATH Jameson Houston (6-0, 180) - St. Michael's Catholic

St. Michael's did not play this week.

P/K Drew Galitz (5-11, 180) - Rowlett HS

Garland beat Rowlett 36-31. The 2nd ranked kicker in the nation made some PATs and kicked a FG in overtime to take a temporary lead.

2016 COMMIT RESULTS:

RB Kameron Martin (5-10, 170) - Port Arthur Memorial HS

Port Arthur lost to Deer Park, 35-14. If you didn't know, Corey Dauphine, also a RB and a Texas Tech commit, combines with Kameron to create an intense rushing attack for Port Arthur. Well, it didn't work so well against Deer Park. The two combined for 68 yards. Not a great night.

QB Zach Smith (6-4, 200) - Grandview HS

OHHHHHHHHHH ZEBRAS. Grandview is off to an 0-2 start in district play after falling to Comanche 56-42. Zach wears the best helmet/plays for the team with the best mascot of any Baylor commit, and although the Zebras lost, Smitty had himself a day. He went 24-35 for four TDs through the air and one on the ground. So, you could basically call it a Connor Halliday night for Zach Smith.

OT Patrick Hudson (6-5, 325) - Silsbee HS

AGGIE FLIP. MWAHAHAHAHA. IT'S STILL A BEAUTIFUL THING. Patrick created a Twitter account recently, and his header photo is chocolate chip cookies (darn good looking cookies, might I add). Can we just sit and talk about this? His avi is a shirt that says "Kitchen Gang" and his header is chocolate chip cookies. That's just amazing. You know what, I'm probably just gonna write every week about how happy I am this guy switched from TAMU to Baylor. I'm smiling as I type this.

CB KeShawn Somerville (5-10, 170) - Hendrickson HS

Hendrickson did not play this week.

WR Tren'Davian Dickson (6-1, 178) Navasota HS

Navasota did not play this week.

CB Eric Cuffee (5-11, 190) - Waco HS

Not a huge day from Cuffee, once again. Defended a couple passes in a 38-23 win over Pflugerville Connally.

Thoughts? Concerns? Oh, and College Gameday or no College Gameday, let's go #SicTCU.
