Apparently somewhat concerned with our QB situation for next year, Art Briles and the Baylor staff continued their recent recruiting trend of evaluating and offering JUCO players with a QB, a position previously thought filled in this class.
Former #UGA CB Nick Marshall, now a QB at #GardenCity (Kan.) CC, picks up #Baylor offer. Has 6 total ($): es.pn/Qms1jy#SicEm

The QB at issue here is Nick Marshall, who you can see from the tweet above was a cornerback at Georgia in another life. Marshall has recruiting profiles at Scout (listed as a 4* CB), Rivals (from his HS days), and 247Sports, where is he listed as the 101st-ranked player in this JUCO class and the 3rd-best dual-threat QB.
Marshall also has numerous HUDL highlight videos that are worth a look when you get a chance. From what I can tell, Marshall has outstanding skills with the ball in his hands but needs significant work as a QB. It's not clear at this point whether our staff actually wants Marshall as a QB or if they plan to return him to his former role at CB. Either is possible from what I can see on film, though I'm hardly an expert. I'd appreciate any thoughts people are willing to give after watching his videos.
Marshall is listed at 6-2, 210 with a 4.45, so ... maybe he should be a QB!
