New Shawn Oakman Abuse Allegations from 2013

According to police reports obtained by OrangeBloods' Alex Dunlap, former Baylor DE Shawn Oakman was involved in a 2013 domestic violence incident. Oakman was arrested almost two weeks ago on charges of sexual assault.

Baylor Football's horrific offseason continues to get worse, as "new" allegations surface relating to an incident in 2013 involving former Baylor DE Shawn Oakman and his then-girlfriend.  The incident was apparently investigated by Waco Police with no charges filed, but the incident report has now made its way into the Twitterverse:

The incident report describes generally an altercation of some kind between Oakman and his girlfriend related to instagram posts by another girl, who is not really described or identified.  The girlfriend apparently chose not to file charges against Oakman at that time, but the report includes description of injuries, including bruising, and the officer's conclusion that more injuries could develop over time (as more bruising became apparent, I'm guessing).

I've been critical of Dunlap's motivations in all of this considering his obvious allegiances, but I want to stress something here: If his allegation that Baylor was aware of this incident at the time and did nothing related to it, in a similar manner to the allegations relating to former TE Tre'Von Armstead, is correct, this is an extremely serious problem for both the University and the football program, depending on who knew what and when.  If, for example, the football program knew about these allegations in 2013, even without charges being filed, and kept Oakman around with this report in-hand, that's not acceptable.  And it's going to create even more questions that need answers.

As always, I'll do my best to keep people posted as more information comes to light.
