My apologies to all for the relative lack of Senior Bowl practice coverage this week; I dropped the ball on sharing the latest info regarding Baylor's four attendees. In case you weren't aware, Baylor had the following players in Mobile this week representing the green and gold:
WR Jay Lee
OT Spencer Drango
DE Shawn Oakman
LS Jimmy Landes
If you're wondering where Corey Coleman and/or Andrew Billings were, recall that it's called the "Senior Bowl" for a reason.
Of Baylor's four players, the ones looking the best this weekend are fairly easy to spot if you follow NFL analysts on Twitter. WR Jay Lee, one of the breakout players this season for the Bears, and OT Spencer Drango, a 4-year starter at LT, lit things up in practice and had scouts raving about their play. Lee received praise for his frame and ability to get separation, while Drango performed well in pass protection and showed versatility moving across the line. A few of the better tweets below:
Baylor's Jay Lee showed off impressive hands at today's Senior Bowl practice: https://t.co/gi3N5IhS4B pic.twitter.com/wXGBulj7NF

WRs we've seen really take off the past few years are guys with great ball skills. Jay Lee has that. Best jump ball guy here

Aside of my summary of Day 1 of #SeniorBowl (https://t.co/BycI8OomTc)...other thoughts: Baylor WR Jay Lee had a nice day. Physical on stem.

RBs - Dixon head and shoulders the best RB here.
WRs - Mitchell, Jay Lee, Sterling Shepard and Braxton Miller https://t.co/3UMlTLWcJ7

Crisp route running and high pointing continue to be a theme for South WRs Jay Lee and Sterling Shepard. Standouts so far. #SeniorBowl

Spencer Drango:
2015, 997 snaps, 0 sacks allowed, 7 total pressures (1.7%), 4 penalties. #STUD https://t.co/6PEMRHvziH

Spencer Drango just tossed teammate Shawn Oakman to the ground with ease on a 9-7 drill

Came away impressed by #Baylor OT Spencer Drango today. May be best suited at RT, but wouldn't rule out the left side just yet #SeniorBowl

#Baylor OT Spencer Drango has been an absolute monster. Just throwing guys around. #SeniorBowl

Don't know much about Baylor's Spencer Drango, but he's crushing DEs from the RT spot.

Again, the game is at 1:30 on the NFL Network. If you want to watch it, we can use this thread as our official game thread for it.
