Ok, wow. This is quite the undertaking. I've got a few minutes here, so I'm going to do my best to collect a few of the plays in this, gif them through imgur's gif tool, and then upload them back to the post.
I've seen this video posted in other places with reactions that were, let's say, less than positive. Those voicing concerns referenced somewhat lackadaisical ball security, a few throws that either sailed or came in late, and footwork that definitely needs work.
I'm curious to see what people think after watching all of the plays together, without anything else. For me, having watched the video now a couple of times, I'm not feeling that negativity. There's obviously significant athleticism to work with here and a strong arm. Seth knows the offense and will bring an aspect to it-- the designed QB run-- that we didn't really get through Bryce Petty. Yes, there are places he clearly needs reps, but he'll get them (and already has this Spring) as the designated #1. You can't discount the effect that playing with the 1s every day could have on his progression, as well as just having another year.
Anyway, watch the video and tell me what you think in the comments! It's Friday afternoon; what else are you doing?
