Former Four Star OT Ishmael Wilson Transferring to Baylor

Ishmael Wilson, a 2013 4-star OT recruit that signed with Texas A&M announced that he is transferring to Baylor. He will fit nicely into the 2015 roster after sitting out the 2014 season.

It appears that Ishmael Wilson, a 2013 four star OT Texas A&M commitment, has left Texas A&M and will be transferring to Baylor. 247 Sports' Brian Perroni tweeted out the news:

The story includes the following quote from Wilson:

"I'm not at A&M anymore," Wilson told GigEm247's Taylor Hamm on Tuesday. "I'm going to Baylor. I'm filling out my paperwork right now. A lot of schools want me but [Baylor is] close to home."

Wilson redshirted his freshman year with the Aggies, and will have to sit out the 2014 season. Once he joins the team in 2015, he will have three years to play three with the Bears.

This is fantastic news for Baylor fans, since there have been some concerns with recruiting depth on the offensive line. He looks as though he will fit well at right tackle, and would be a great bookend with 2015 commit Maurice Porter.

Mark's on the road and asked me to throw this article up, but I'm sure he will have more to say once he reaches his destination.
