Weather will not be a problem inside Jerry World. Although Baylor will be going up a defense that is "way more smarter" this year, they have put up an average of 60.33 points on Tech over the past three years. Tech, in the same time period, has scored an average of 40.33 against the Bears. Needless to say, there's a reason they call this game a Shootout.
Texas Tech's offense is 46th in the F/+ rankings and they have put up an average of 29 points this year. While they may be down from their normal numbers, their Air Raid offense could pose problems for a Baylor team with a young secondary. Thankfully, Ryan Reid should be back this Saturday and you know CPB will be on his crew after their lackluster fourth quarter yesterday. All in all, the numbers look to line up with this line.
VegasInsiders.com says the line opened at 21.5 points, but their consensus line is already up to 23.5 with one site giving an even higher 24.5.
Other Notable Lines:
TCU (-7.5) at Texas - Personally, I'd take Texas with this line, but who knows. Sic 'em Longhorns.
LSU (-2.5) at Texas A&M
Michigan at Ohio State (-20) - Go Big Blue
Georgia Tech at Georgia (-14.5)
Kansas at Kansas State (-28.5) - Eesh.
Oregon (-17.5) at Oregon State
Auburn at Alabama (-7) War Eagle
Mississippi State at Ole Miss - Pick 'em. Hotty Toddy.
