The final week of the regular season is upon us. For the vast majority of college football it ended last weekend, with only conference championships and a smattering of games left to play, but the Bears are one of the fortunate few that has a final game remaining on the schedule. This week's opponent: the Texas Longhorns. As is customary, Monday means press conferences. Let's get to it.
Coaches Teleconference
Because only four Big 12 teams are in competition on Saturday, today's teleconference was something of a light affair. Coach Briles went on at 11, but only had three or four questions total asked of him. Perhaps the more notable information came out of the Texas portion of the call, where HC Charlie Strong had some injury news:
Texas coach Charlie Strong says QB Jerrod Heard day to day. Suffered concussion against Texas Tech.

Max Olsen reported that Heard is cleared to practice but is day-to-day, and that QB Tyrone Swoopes will start on Saturday. More from Olson:
Charlie Strong: Peter Jinkens, D'Onta Foreman, Kirk Johnson, Patrick Vahe out for Baylor game

Strong: Jerrod Heard cleared to practice. Malik Jefferson, Hassan Ridgeway questionable vs. Baylor. Could get J-Gray back.

Lastly, this from Colt Barber, which was the just about the most anyone tweeted out from the Briles portion:
Art Briles says they will look at possibilities of keeping more than 3 QBs on roster moving forward, not positive yet

Baylor Twitter Account
For whatever reason, I still can't access the Twitter Widgets page, which enabled me to embed twitter accounts. If anyone has any insight into it, I'm all ears. Fortunately, I have the Baylor twitter account feed still from last week, so here's that to enjoy!
Presser at 1:00 p.m.
We all know the routine by now - Briles takes the podium at 1:00 p.m. CST. Let's talk about it! Here's the link:
