Not much new information to share with you this week since our opponent is one we know well. All the vitals you need to know (TV, tickets, location, time) are all up there ready for you with links to the major information. As for everything else...
Matchup: Baylor Bears vs. TCU Horned Frogs
Series: Tied, 50-50-7 (bet you didn't know THAT, did you?)
Last: 9/2/2011: Baylor won 50-48
Both teams have a conference loss so far this season. Baylor obviously lost our last game in Morgantown to the now-#4-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers 70-63. TCU lost this past weekend in Fort Worth to the Iowa State Cyclones 37-23. For a look at the rest of their schedule (as far as I know, all of those links work):

You'll see this in the next few days as we take a deeper look at their previews, but suffice to say that theirs is a story of competence defense and incompetent offense. Even with now-dismissed QB Casey Pachall running the show, their offense has had tremendous difficulty with turnovers, particularly in the redzone. Moving between the 20s isn't a problem, so the traditional stats like yardage per game is extremely misleading. They have had tremendous difficult scoring with regularity against better teams because of the gun permanently pointed at their cleats.
On a larger note, their team has been absolutely racked by injuries, defections, and losses both academic and disciplinary in nature. By my count, they have nearly two dozen scholarship players out for one reason or another in the last 12 months. Some of those losses were significant contributors and/or starters on both offense and defense, such as QB Casey Pachall, RB Waymon James, and a whole host of offensive linemen. The TCU team taking the field Saturday will be both young and inexperienced. Let's hope we can take advantage.
