Halftime: Oklahoma State 14, Baylor 28

Just Keep Winning.

The first half of Baylor's Blackout against Oklahoma State started well with Baylor getting on the board with a long TD pass to Jay Lee in the first minute of the game. After another long TD pass to Corey Coleman in the 3rd minute of the game, Baylor fans weren't alone in thinking the route was on.

However, a Bryce Petty pass on a hitch route was picked off by Oklahoma State and the Cowboys subsequently marched down the short field to score a 1 yard TD.

Since then, the game has featured flashes of brilliance from the Baylor passing attack, a rushing attack that gained steam as the game went on, and even a defense that racked up some impressive negative plays. However, it also featured an absurd number of penalties - mostly of the annoying false start and holding variety - that slowed the game down and gave the Cowboys a chance to jump back into the game. After extending the lead to 28-7 with 5 minutes to go in the first half, Oklahoma State scored a TD with 1 second left to bring us to halftime.

Mark seems even more perturbed than I am about the first half.
