#4 Oklahoma Currently 5.5-Point Favorite over #18 Baylor for Saturday’s Game

Coming off its second loss of the season, the Baylor Bears will be underdogs for the third time this season against Oklahoma, which is currently a 5.5-point favorite over the Bears according to VegasInsider.com. The two previous times the Bears were underdogs was against Iowa State (the line was ISU -7) and Oklahoma State (OSU -4). The line opened yesterday at OU -6.5 with an O/U of 64.5 and has been slowly moving in Baylor’s direction on the spread and downward on the O/U, which is now 63.

This seems fair to me if not generous toward Baylor given how we played at TCU this last weekend. I’m surprised that the line has moved in Baylor’s direction at all. We will have to see if it continues to move or stays static for the rest of the week.

Baylor is now ranked #18 in both polls after Saturday’s loss, while OU is #4. The CFB Playoff rankings update tomorrow night.
